Khaki (511717)<br />An opaque greyish tan.

An opaque greyish tan.

"When I think 'Khaki' - I think of a greener colour - although, now that I google it, Wiki has a very nice entry on the general confusion surrounding the colour . . . in common experience in North America - apparently Khaki is thought of more grey-like or beigey. Fair enough - no one said my experience of the world was common!" Read more at DragonJools blog. – Dwyn Tomlinson

"I made a heart with Effetre dark ivory at the top and Khaki at the bottom, then melted silver leaf into the whole bead - not an awful lot happened with the Khaki. But then I decided to try silver fuming a couple of Khaki spacers - Wow! Great effect, I got a beautiful pearly silver grey."

"Double Helix's Aurae shards were gently wrapped along with dots and frit, then reduced to bring out all the golden goodness in this 12 bead set. The canvas for these beads is Messy Khaki.  In Pantone's 2010 Spring & Summer forecast, designer Carmen Marc Valvo has named Khaki and Gold as his signature colour for next season."
