"Combining CiM’s Adriatic, a bright blue misty opal, and Ra, an opaque silver laden yellow, created these beauties! A twisted stream of silvered ivory fumes a golden hue over Ra but kept the misty blue hues as rich as the sea!" See more at Darlene's blog.

"Adriatic is the misty opal partner of Daydream. Although I didn't encounter any shockiness with Adriatic, I did have a little bit of typical blue fussiness in the form of scumming, but nothing so bad that I couldn't pluck it out. The bead was photographed indoors in natural daylight." Read more at Laura's blog.

"Adriatic is a beautiful opal colour that is stiff, smooth and no shocking."

"Adriatic is a beautiful deep turquoise blue. Unlike some of the deeper turquoise shades there was no bubbling or scumming with this glass. The shell here has silver foil and some of Trudi's Coast frit. The silver gives a lovely sandy look on the glass."
Josephine Wadman
"My heart sings when I see bright colours and this is a real Bobby dazzler! It's described by CiM as a bright misty blue opal, and it really lives up to that. The spinner beads are pure Adriatic, and in real life are a touch lighter and more translucent. Blue can be a tricky colour to capture in a photograph. The bubble beads have a base of Adriatic and have been encased in Effetre Baby Blue, these colours complement each other well. The glass was fuss free and is going straight on my wish list!"
