CiM Tester Feedback

  • Twilight was formulated in response to customer requests for a transparent Adamantium.
"Compared to effetre Gray 591048 and effetre Steel Gray 591088, this new color is a more 'blue' gray and more of a cool tone than Steel Gray." – Genea Crivello

"Greys are usually very light when layered thinly, even when they are dark in a rod. Anyway I decided to test the shades Mockingbird 822 and blue gray Denim 541 with some older grays I happen to have in the shelf. Other colours are Effetre 086 and 088 and CiM Twilight. Well, besides Denim all the glasses diluted to almost nonexistence, and Denim is classified as blue at CiM's homepage, but when layered heavy, we can see the different shades well. Eff 086 turns to brown, Eff 088 lightly to green. Mockingbird is neutral true gray, Denim blue gray of course and Twilight another true gray, close to Mockingbird, just a bit warmer." "Here is dichro encased with Twilight. The color and tone of Twilight is discernibly different from the Effetre dark steel grey and I prefer it."

"Twilight is a gorgeous neutral transparent grey. This color fills a small hole in the 104 palette - it's not as warm/green as Effetre Slate Gray, and is darker and cooler than regular Effetre Grey. I like my greys to be on the cooler side, and this fits the bill nicely." Read more at Kandice's blog.

"Silver glass and Twilight is a happy story. Reduction frit looks beautiful on it, and I got fantastic colour out of my TerraNova2 frit, although you sort of have to enlarge the picture to see it." Read more at Melanie's blog.

"Twilight is a darkish grey - it looks very neutral - and it builds up intensity fast as it gets thicker. On the left, white with Twilight dots - very pale. But in the center and on the right, these two self-coloured spacers are quite dark." Read more at DragonJools blog.

Genea made black, white and gray headpins including with Twilight. "I chose these colors because everyone loves that classic black and white. Twilight is the far left headpin. A gorgeous 'cool' transparent gray!" See more headpins on Genea's blog.
